Smoke Detectors:
"Do you have smoke detectors in your house?" I would assume most of you
do.
"If the alarm woke you up at night what would you do?" I would assume, check
for a fire, get out to the house, call fire department, etc.
"Why wouldn't you just remove the batteries and go back to sleep?" Probably
because you know that the real problem is a fire and/or the smoke, not the alarm.
"Well how is that different then just wanting to get rid of symptoms by any means
necessary, other than by improving the way the body functions?"
How do you even know if the symptoms you are experiencing (even if they may be
uncomfortable and not enjoyable) are good or bad for you?
Did you ever stop to think that some symptoms are beneficial for you or have you
been brainwashed by drug company advertisements to think that all are bad? Review a past MMM Ptomain Instead of Chow Mein to see how unreliable symptoms
can be.
Please note that I'm not saying to never use drugs, surgery, or any other interventions. There is a time and a place for everything. I just want you to remember that whether you are experiencing symptoms or not, always be doing things to improve the overall function of your body. Regular chiropractic care can help your body function as best as it can.
